Anything good about 20?

Well, its getting pretty close to that time again. It's 15 days til' my birthday now.. and I'm turning 20 this year. I'm really not sure yet though, what comes with 20? Just a little bit closer to the American drinking age and a little to old to free load? Hahha.. I've been thinking about it a lot lately. Seems like theres nothing with this age, except I'm a getting a little more afraid that very soon I'll be too old for anyone to take care of me, except myself. I am not really sure I'm ready to be completely on my own.. but we shall see. Not to mention I'm not in the greatest financial situation.. but who is at my age anyway? Moving on, I was hoping that maybe you guys who are already past this age could give me some positive perspectives of this age. To be honest I wish I was still 17.. that was prolly the best age so far. Still care free.. but old enough to do what I want.. too bad its just one year eh? Anyway.. drop me a line and let me know what I have to look forward to. Other than the fact that I can say I'm 20 when someone asks me if I'm 14. Hehe.

Hey Ashley...
I turned 20 on Monday, June 12th and I pretty much feel the same. However, you do start to feel more important cause your in your 20's and not a teen anymore. Hope you have a good bday.

Enjoy 20.

It's still young.

Nothing eventful happens.

I found 25 was my defining age. That's when you should probably figure out what you're doing with your life. Ask me for more advice in 5 years. lol

My only advice is to live in the moment...try to enjoy and experience all life has to offer. You have many exciting times before you - and your view of yourself and what you want your life to be will only become clearer all the time.

There is always someone to look out for you. It is when you have kids that you feel like you are on your own..lol. Then they depend solely on you. And I must admit, when Jody is working nightshifts, I feel like my 2 year old is going to protect me somehow...so I guess you never really want to lose that feeling of someone looking after you..lol. Take care..20 is a great age. Now 26 for me was the changeover...it didn't feel like I was in my mid 20's, it felt like I was getting REALLLY close to 30..haha! Happy early Birthday!
